We are providing you with RaceJoy as part of the official race experience for the Cycle of Hope.

Download the RaceJoy mobile app in advance to ensure proper phone setup. Invite your friends and family to track you and send you cheers!

GPS Progress Alerts

  • Receive continual progress updates as you complete your goal.

Live GPS Tracking

  • Remote spectators can track your progress live in a map view. You can also track others.


  • Receive supportive audio cheers from remote friends & family.

Virtual Results (virtual events only)

  • Enter your race-assigned bib number to automatically submit your finish data for real-time scored results.
To use RaceJoy, you must carry your phone and activate tracking on the day you complete your race.

Just like it takes a community to build a Habitat home, it takes a community to create a safe event for everyone. Cycle of Hope is committed to the health and safety of our athletes, volunteers, staff, and community. For those joining us in-person to make safe, stable housing possible for others, we want to make sure you feel safe, too! So, we are keeping a close eye and adhering to all local COVID-19 health guidelines, while adding some protocol of our own. Guidelines are subject to change as circumstances develop, and we’ll keep you updated right up to ride day. Here’s what we’re doing, and how you can contribute to a safe environment for us all:

Face Coverings: All participants and spectators must bring a face covering to Cycle of Hope, to be used in specified areas! Face coverings will be required in the following event spaces:

  • Packet Pickup
  • While in corrals or lined up at the starting line – applies to all courses, including the Kids’ Course
  • While waiting in lines for registration, merchandise, bike valet, gear check, bike maintenance, and aid stations
  • While in line or picking up food and beverage
  • While inside vendor or sponsor booths
  • Any other areas or circumstances where six feet of physical distancing cannot be observed between you and other attendees, volunteers, and event staff

Vaccination and Testing

  • All event staff and volunteers will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (rapid test 24 prior to event or PCR test 72 hours prior to event).
  • We strongly encourage all attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have received a negative COVID-19 test result prior to the event (rapid test 24 hours prior to event or PCR test 72 hours prior to event).

Physical Distancing

  • A minimum of six feet of physical distance should be observed with all people outside of your household, including athletes, spectators, volunteers, and event staff.
  • Safe distancing markers will be placed in high-traffic areas to help attendees and staff maintain physical distancing.
  • Seating areas will allow for physical distancing between groups.
  • Corrals are being introduced this year to promote lower density among riders at the starting line.


  • Sanitation stations will be readily available throughout the event in key areas.
  • We strongly encourage all attendees to wash hands and apply hand sanitizer frequently.

Health and Safety Team

  • A team of event staff and volunteers will be designated to support health and safety measures.
  • The Health and Safety Team will help keep communal surfaces regularly sanitized.
  • The Health and Safety Team will monitor event capacity and help attendees maintain safe distancing and masking practices.
  • The Health and Safety Team will be available to attend to any concerns raised by attendees.

Food and Beverage

  • All food and beverage will be served in individually-packaged servings to decrease the potential for cross-contamination.

Should the in-person event be canceled for a reason out of the control of the organizers, participants will have three options:

  1. Transfer your registration to the virtual format for the current year.
  2. Support Habitat for Humanity by converting your registration fee to a tax-deductible donation.
  3. Defer to the following year's Cycle of Hope event with a transfer credit of the amount paid in 2021.
